Bhangarh Fort is a 17th century fort located in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The fort is said to be cursed and is considered one of the most haunted places in India. According to legend, the fort was built by Raja Bhagwant Singh for his younger brother Madho Singh. However, a tantrik (sorcerer) named Singhia, who was in love with the princess of Bhangarh, cast a curse on the palace, causing everyone inside to die. It is said that anyone who enters the fort after sunset will not be able to leave alive. Many people have claimed to have experienced strange occurrences and ghostly sightings within the fort. The Archaeological Survey of India has placed a sign at the entrance of the fort warning visitors not to enter the fort after sunset. Despite the ominous reputation, Bhangarh Fort is a popular tourist attraction and is open to visitors during the day.
